REGINA GLAS

TEAM LEADER OF THE NATIONAL TEAM of hang-gliders
As hang glider I am often in high altitude with temperatures around 0 degree Celsius. The airflow cools you down additionally. Thermopads are a good help to keep hands and fingers warm so that I can safely handle the flight instruments – nearly impossible with frozen hands.
In my job as flight trainer and team leader of the hang glider national team I am often in the mountains. If you have to wait for hours at the starting point at freezing cold temperatures, you need warm clothes and Thermopads. Hands, feet and even the back stay warm with the warmers and help me enjoying those cold days.
My pilots from the natioinal team love the Thermopads too and use them on training and competition flights. Tip: For long flights I stick a warmer to the battery of the flight instruments – that way the battery lasts longer.
